California

Beautiful California

California's weather ranges from sunny is Southern California to  cold and foggy in the North. In the desert, the rain ranges from about less than three inches, and rainfall is about one hundred inches in the northern Coastal Ranges. "California is complex, diverse, and extreme" (Mayda 504).

Because of its sunny weather,California's agriculture crops are fruitful because of the sun and fertile soil.

California can be considered a "farmer's paradise" because its soil and weather is suitable for almost any time of crop to grow (Mayda 522). California is in first place for growing 48 difference types of crops. California's specialty crops are fruits, vegetables, and nuts.California has 250 varieties of these special crops(Mayda 524). That's a lot of variety.

In California, Los Angeles is the second largest city in America.

The City of Los Angeles

"Today, Los Angeles remains a polynucleated city-a jumble of edge cities, each with its own downtown and shopping area. The meropolitan area includes eighty cities and five counties (Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino, and Riverside), with a total of about eighteen million people (half of California's population)" (Mayda 518).

California is a beautiful state to live in and visit. "California remains the nation's number one travel destination. The natural attractions include Yosemite, Death Valley, Big Sur, and the many beaches. The human made attractions include Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and the San Diego Zoo (Mayda 528).

There are many places to visit here in California. So, why not take a vacation to sunny California?
