Hawai'i

Hawai'i

"The Hawaiian Islands are located in the Pacific Ocean about twenty-one hundred miles southwest of the U.S. mainland and are the most remote islands in the world" (Mayda 537)." Stretched from the Aleutian Trench to the Big Island, 132 volcanically formed islands, reefs, atolls, and shoals compose the fifteen-hundred-mile Hawaiian archipelago" (Mayda 536).

In Hawai'i, the offshore water is warm and clear not like the beaches in California. The beaches in California are cold and the water is dark in color. (Mayda 537).

I love California, but our beaches don't compare to Hawaii's beaches. The Hawai'i beaches are absolutely beautiful.  Have you visited any of the Hawai'i islands? I'm sure they are breathtaking.
